Common Questions

How long does the build-a-friend experience take?

All in all, the activity can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes. The participants will browse and choose their stuffy (10 minutes), fill their friend (15-20 minutes), and - if doing the backpack decorating activity - color their bags (15-20 minutes).

How long will Stuffed with Aloha be on site?

Your Plush Party Planner (our staff) will be there for up to an hour and a half. During that time, they'll set everything up, help guide the activity, and do activity clean-up. It takes about 15-20 minutes for setup, and 15-20 minutes for clean up.*

*For longer come-as-you-please style events and fundraisers, we can attend for longer for an additional fee.

Can I Choose which stuffies You Bring?

Short answer: yes!

Long answer: If your party is booked and stuffy selections are made 3 weeks prior to the event, I may be able to order the stuffies if I do not have your favorites in stock. The minimum order from my supplier is 6 stuffies per style, and my options depend on what they have in stock at the time of order placement.

Will you travel anywhere on island?

Yes! However, a travel fee may apply. We are located in central Oahu, and will travel up to 15 miles included in the price. There is a $25 fee for anything beyond that.

Are there party minimums?

Yes, we require a $300 minimum to attend an event.

What do I need to have ready?

All we need is a small space to set up the stuffied animals, and a suitable space for the participants to be able to sit and stuff their animals. That can be a collection of picnic blankets or tables and chairs. There should be enough space for each participant to sit at the same time*. And it can be indoors or outdoors.

*Certain events may be "come as you please, so the setup needs will be different.

What ages is this best for?

From 1-99+! This is a fun-filled activity for any age! We require parent supervision and support for keiki under 5.

Do You Require a Deposit?

Yes. We require a $100 non-refundable deposit for booking the party time. The remainder is collected at the party.

What is your cancellation Policy?

Our deposits are non-refundable since reserving your spot means we won't be able to host other parties at that time. If you need to cancel before the 72-hour window, we can arrange a one-tim.e reschedule, using your deposit as a credit for the new date. If you cannot reschedule or cancel within the 72-hour window, your deposit may be forfeited. If you pay in full upon booking, but then have to cancel, you will receive a full refund of the non-deposit amount.

What happens if a guest doesn't attend, or we invite extras?

Your final balance will be calculated based on the number of stuffed animals made on the day of your party. If you know you may have extra guests, please les us know as soon as you know so that we can be sure to have enough supplies. If a guest doesn't attend, you will not be charged for them so long as the $300 minimum is reached.
